Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our PM&R Physician, you will join our established practice at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group in Lufkin, TX. You will play a pivotal role in the continued success and development of our practice.
Every day you will provide comprehensive rehabilitation care focused on restoring function and quality of life. You will provide functional assessments and individualized treatment plans for patients with complex needs.
To be successful in this role, you will be a BC/BE Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician with a passion for helping patients, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality comprehensive care within a busy community-focused practice.
  • Practice alongside an experienced PM&R physician in the only acute care rehab hospital in the area.
  • Position entails a mix of seeing hospital patients as well as patients in office.
  • Traditional Monday through Friday schedule, with alternating weekend coverage.
  • Experience with EMG/nerve conduction studies, therapeutic botox injections, and medical acupuncture, etc.

Job Requirements
Required:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
  • Active or eligible license in the state of Texas, or ability to obtain prior to employment
  • Completion of ACGME Residency program
  • American Board Certification and active BLS
  • Pain management experience will be considered
