Job description

Job Title:         Industrial Electrician

Client:              Food Manufacturing Company

Job Type:        Full-Time

Location:         Chicago, IL 60607

Shift:                2nd or 3rd Shift (On-site)

Description:

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems and bakery production equipment.
  • Perform preventive and autonomous maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Diagnose and repair PLC, VFD, and 480V electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support maintenance activities.
  • Identify, document, and resolve equipment failures while tracking maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with LOTO, arc flash, electrical safety, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to improve equipment performance and reliability.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing operations.
