Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
  • Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
  • Perform pipe threading and ensure proper connections for water supply and drainage systems.
  • Collaborate with HVAC professionals to integrate plumbing systems with heating and cooling units.
  • Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot plumbing issues in residential or commercial properties.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while working in various environments.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber with relevant licenses
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics related to plumbing layouts.
  • Experience with pipe threading techniques and the use of power tools specific to plumbing tasks.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
  • Refrigeration Certifications a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for long periods, lifting heavy materials, and working in various environments.
