Job description

Overview
Weโ€™re looking for a reliable underground utility Pipe Foreman for water/sewer/storm placement and utility projects across New Jersey. The ideal candidate brings solid hands-on utility experience on relevant projects and a strong work ethic. We prioritize safety and professionalism on every job site.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all on-site pipe installation activities
  • Execute placement for sanitary, water, sewer, storm, and pressure pipe systems
  • Lead a small crew in the installation of underground utilities
  • Shoot grades and operate a sewer laser.
  • Read civil plans and blueprints to ensure all work meets project specifications and is code compliant
  • Maintain a safe job site and follow all safety regulations and maintenance checks to uphold a secure work environment.
  • Communicate clearly with management and field crew to keep projects on track.
  • Identify, report and correct hazards.


Requirements

  • Prior experience working on underground utilities or heavy civil construction (foreman or leadership experience preferred).
  • Knowledge of equipment operation such as dozers, loaders, and excavators.
  • Deep excavation experience is a plus.
  • Can preform all necessary job functions on the pipe crew.
  • Able to perform physically demanding work, including extended standing and lifting materials.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of OSHA rules, including safe trenching guidelines.
  • Must have basic job site readiness.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license.
