Parkland Golf & Country Club, located in Parkland, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time, seasonal Locker Room Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Role Type: Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)
Position Summary:
The Locker Room Attendant is responsible for providing a high level of customer service in the locker room area to all members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:
Organization & Cleaning | Stock & Laundry:
  • Make coffee each morning - ready by 6:45 AM, removed at 10 AM.
  • Ice on golf course by 9 AM on Holes 1, 6, and 14; replenish when necessary.
  • Keep all areas of the locker room clean and organized.
  • Regularly check and refill all standard toiletries.
  • Restock all towel levels as needed.
  • Launder towels.
  • Follow the opening, ongoing, and closing checklists.
  • Take all dirty laundry to the housekeeping laundry room and garbage to the dumpsters.

Players:
  • Greet and engage all members and guests and assist them with whatever they need.
  • Assign guests a locker if requested.
  • Polish all shoes upon request and return them to the proper locker.

Communication:
  • Have a radio at all times; let the Golf Staff know if you have to leave the locker room unattended for any reason.
  • Communicate with other departments to anticipate and meet the needs of members and guests.
  • Report any functional problems to the Golf Staff.

Food & Beverage (Possible Future Tasks):
  • Offer food and beverage to all players.
  • Serve meals to all members and guests in the locker room upon request.
  • Accurately record all Food and Beverage sales.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time (6-10 hours).
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on occasion.
  • Adhere to appearance standards as described in the employee manual.
  • Friendly and outgoing personality.
