Join a caring team and make a daily impact. Safely transport individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to and from our day habilitation and after-school programs in Brooklyn.
What You'll Do
  • Safely operate a passenger van on scheduled routes to transport adults and youth with disabilities to and from day programs, after-school programs, and community locations.
  • Perform safe passenger assistance, including operating wheelchair lifts (if applicable), and oversee boarding/alighting with care and respect.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections; maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the van.
  • Follow all state, local, and agency safety procedures, traffic laws, and complete required route documentation.
  • Communicate professionally with dispatch, program staff, families, and passengers.
