At Paloma Counseling Services, we believe in empowering individuals through personalized mental health care. Our practice is built on the foundation of collaboration, respect, and integrity. We specialize in creating tailored therapeutic plans that enable our clients to navigate through challenges such as trauma, anxiety, and depression. Our team of licensed professionals is committed to fostering a nurturing atmosphere, where both clients and therapists can grow and heal together.

Work Environment

Working with us means you will enjoy the flexibility of a remote work setting while also having an opportunity to engage with a dynamic team of mental health professionals. Our outpatient office provides a comfortable, confidential space for both in-person and virtual sessions, ensuring that therapists can effectively support a diverse client population. We leverage technology to enhance accessibility, offering teletherapy options for clients facing logistical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish therapeutic goals collaboratively with clients and monitor their progress regularly to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation to ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through training, workshops, and peer collaboration to refine skills and enhance therapeutic techniques.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients represent a diverse range of backgrounds and ages, seeking support for various mental health issues including but not limited to trauma, anxiety disorders, and depressive conditions. We emphasize a holistic approach, and our counselors are adept at creating a safe, empowering environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences and working towards their therapeutic goals.

Qualifications
  • A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective rapport-building with diverse client populations.
  • Demonstrated capacity for empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage caseload effectively.
Preferred Experience

While all qualified licensed therapists are encouraged to apply, experience in outpatient therapy, trauma-informed care, or specific modalities such as EMDR or mindfulness-based practices is a plus. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms will be beneficial in streamlining service delivery.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload responsibilities. Benefits include:

  • Sign-on bonus for qualified, licensed therapists.
