Advanced Assembly, Inc. (AAI), located in University Research Park on the west side of Madison, is looking to add Material Handlers to our well-trained and experienced staff. Advanced Assembly, Inc. is an electronics manufacturing services provider of electronic assemblies and products, including the Captioned Telephone (CapTel). This full-time position offers a second shift schedule of Monday - Thursday, 2:45 PM - 12:45 AM, a competitive starting wage and a full benefits package. Wage depending on experience. Job Summary: The Material Handler is responsible for performing a wide variety of inventory handling and processing activities.
Essential Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Pick and replenish Point of Use material required for production departments.
  • Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities and quality, and document any discrepancies utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Perform inventory transactions in the ERP.
  • Ensure all materials are properly identified, stored, and tracked.
  • Ensure First In, First Out (FIFO) is followed.
  • Follow company Safety and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) policies.
  • Cycle count material.
  • Follow 5S practices to maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
