Our All Star Physical Therapy location in La Quinta, CA is looking for a driven and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our close-knit, outpatient orthopedic team. We are in the process of opening a new location dedicated just to Speech Therapy and want you to Lead it. In this role, we are looking for someone who can utilize their valuable experience evaluating and treating communication and swallowing disorders for patients in an outpatient setting.  Respotionsibilities include conducting assessments, creating individualized treatment plans, delivering evidence based therapy, documenting progress and interdisciplinary team members to support outcomes. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct adult and pediatric evaluations according to patient disorder(s) to determine appropriate speech, language, cognitive, voice or swallowing diagnosis. 
  • Develop functional care plans, long and short-term goals for each patient according to their respective disorders and deficits. 
  • Provide treatment for both adult and pediatric populations according to their respective plan of care. 
  • Supervise and co-sign for SLPAs 
  • If qualified, supervise student interns 
Qualifications:
  • Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA accredited University. 
  • ASHA Certification  
  • Licensure from the California Board of Speech Language Pathology 
  • Evidence of ongoing clinical education 
About:

Compensation: $50- $65/hour + productivity bonus, paid continued education and 401(K) with a 4% employer match.
