West Empire Surgery is seeking a full-time Orthopedic Surgeon in Los Angeles, California to join our growing surgical practice and help develop our expanding orthopedic service line.

We welcome General Orthopedic Surgeons and fellowship-trained Orthopedic Surgeons, with particular interest in candidates specializing in Sports Medicine, Sports Orthopedics, and Spine Surgery. Candidates from other orthopedic subspecialties that complement the growth of our practice are also encouraged to apply.

This is an excellent opportunity for an orthopedic surgeon seeking a position in the Los Angeles / Southern California market with the ability to help build and shape a growing orthopedic program.

The incoming surgeon will receive clinical, administrative, imaging, scheduling, and billing support designed to allow them to focus on providing exceptional orthopedic care while developing a successful practice.

The Orthopedic Surgeon will provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of orthopedic conditions and injuries. Responsibilities include:

• Evaluate and diagnose musculoskeletal injuries and orthopedic conditions

• Develop appropriate surgical and non-surgical treatment plans

• Perform orthopedic surgical procedures within the surgeon’s training and specialty

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care

• Order, review, and interpret diagnostic imaging

• Coordinate care with clinical, surgical, and administrative teams

• Maintain timely and accurate medical documentation

• Develop relationships with referring physicians, providers, and community partners

• Participate in the development and expansion of the orthopedic service line

• Maintain high standards of patient safety, clinical quality, and professionalism

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school

• Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency program

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery

• Active California medical license or ability to obtain a California medical license prior to employment

• DEA registration or eligibility to obtain

• Strong orthopedic clinical and surgical skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Patient-focused approach to orthopedic care

• Ability to collaborate within a growing multidisciplinary surgical practice

This position offers more than the opportunity to step into an existing orthopedic surgeon role. The incoming physician will have the opportunity to help build and shape West Empire Surgery's orthopedic division in Los Angeles while benefiting from the infrastructure and support of an established surgical practice.

We are investing in the resources needed to grow orthopedic services, including planned in-house digital X-ray capabilities, dedicated imaging support, clinical staff, scheduling, billing, and administrative resources.
