Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, offering a collaborative hospital setting equipped with advanced rehabilitation technology and tools. As a Full-Time employee, you will enjoy a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients suffering from various orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, postoperative cases, and chronic pain syndromes.
  • Design and implement evidence-based, individualized treatment plans that cater to the specific needs of each patient.
  • Employ a variety of therapeutic modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training to enhance mobility and strength.
  • Provide patient education regarding injury prevention, proper movement mechanics, and establish tailored home exercise regimens.
  • Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, physician assistants, and nursing staff to ensure optimal, multidisciplinary patient care.
  • Monitor and document patient progress accurately within our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, maintaining detailed records to facilitate continuity of care.
  • Engage in continual professional development by staying informed about the latest advancements in the field of orthopedic rehabilitation and physical therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population that includes athletes recovering from sports-related injuries, individuals undergoing surgery, and patients dealing with chronic orthopedic issues. Our focus is on providing individualized, patient-centered care that promotes understanding and active participation in the rehabilitation process.

Qualifications
  • A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada.
  • A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or an equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, along with exceptional interpersonal abilities.
  • A commitment to a compassionate, patient-centered approach with the ability to build rapport with patients.
