Job Description

Prep Academy Tutors of San Antonio is looking for Academic Tutors! As a tutor, you will work one-on-one with students to provide personalized support and guidance in their academic pursuits. Whether you specialize in English, history, math, science, chemistry, or a variety of subjects, we are looking for dedicated professionals who are committed to helping students succeed. Join our team and make a positive impact on the next generation of learners!


Job Summary

Provide academic support to students based on expertise and knowledge of the state curriculum.

Provide supplemental assignments to students to help promote a greater understanding of the material.

Provide remedial and enrichment support for students.

Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress.

Provide a customized approach tailored to the individual needs of each student.

Qualifications and Skills

Requirements

A qualified applicant will have a bachelor's degree and will also meet at least one of the following criteria:

You hold a valid Texas State teaching certificate or the equivalent thereof

You are a current student teacher pursuing a teaching certificate

You have two or more years of experience as a private or charter school classroom teacher.

You have experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited U.S. University or College

You are a Master's/PhD student with experience as a teaching assistant at an accredited U.S. University or College
