Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Pump Foreman Assistant for a growing team based out of Tallahassee. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys heavy equipment, construction, drilling, traveling, and working outdoors.

You don't need to know everything on day one. You'll work alongside an experienced Pump Operator and learn how to operate drilling equipment, assist with jobsite setup, and become an important part of the drilling crew.

🔨 What You'll Be Doing

As a Pump Foreman Assistant, you'll help keep drilling operations running safely and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Pump Operator with mud rotary, reverse mud rotary, and reverse air rotary drilling
  • Learning and operating the controls and components of a drill rig
  • Operating hydraulic winches and top drives for heavy lifting
  • Setting up and breaking down drilling sites
  • Communicating with clients and consultants on job sites
  • Operating forklifts and combination backhoes
  • Assisting with equipment maintenance and organization
  • Painting, scraping, grinding, and welding equipment
  • Organizing and maintaining equipment at the shop
  • Following safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organized worksite
💪 Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Dependable and willing to travel during the week
  • Comfortable working outdoors and in physically demanding conditions
  • Mechanically inclined and willing to learn
  • Comfortable operating or learning to operate heavy equipment
  • Able to lift, move, and work with equipment and tools
  • Safety-conscious and dependable
  • Comfortable working away from home Monday–Friday
  • A team player who takes direction and wants to develop new skills

Previous experience with drilling, construction, heavy equipment, welding, mechanics, or industrial work is a PLUS!
