Job description

The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputed hospital in Blue Ridge, GA to recruit a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department.

In this role, The RN is responsible for providing rapid assessment, triage, and comprehensive emergency nursing care for patients with acute and critical conditions while coordinating interdisciplinary treatment plans in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and Emergency Department standards

Schedule: Full-Time (Nights) | PRN| Days | Nights

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect patient care
  • Assess patients’ physical and psychosocial conditions appropriately
  • Monitor patient conditions, respond to & communicate clinical changes, & document care accurately
  • Precept new staff and provide guidance and support to LPN and CNA team members
  • Maintain professional standards, licensure, certifications, continuing education & competency requirements
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and uphold QHC Service Excellence Standards
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Additional Requirements:

  • Maintain patient confidentiality, ethics, and safety standards
  • Adapt to patient and facility needs while supporting other departments
  • Ensure attendance, timely task completion, and an organized care environment
  • Perform RN, Patient Care Technician, and Unit Coordinator duties as needed
  • Foster positive relationships with patients, families, and staff

What We Are Looking For

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ASN, or BSN)
  • Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia
  • Current CPR certification; PALS and ACLS preferred
  • 1+ year of Acute care hospital experience preferred
