Job description

Explore the benefits of Advanced Independent Practice - WAGI, supported by a leading gastroenterology network.

As part of our organization, WAGI is backed by a prominent, patient-centered gastroenterology network that is led by physicians. This collaboration enables WAGI to provide exceptional, personalized patient care by utilizing the extensive business and organizational resources available, allowing our physicians to concentrate on delivering outstanding care in a thriving private practice environment.

We currently have several openings for Full-Time Board Eligible/Certified General Gastroenterologists at our Bellevue, Puyallup, and Tacoma locations. Join our well-established community practice with a partnership opportunity. These roles are outpatient-focused, offering a balanced work/life schedule with a 4-day work week and call duties of no more than 1:6.

Our organization is recognized as the leading gastroenterology practice in Washington State. With over 30 Board-Certified Gastroenterologists and 20 Advanced Practitioners, we provide clinical, endoscopic, and laboratory services across 15 locations in Western Washington. Our clinical offerings include Hemorrhoid Banding, Capsule Endoscopy, Breath Tests, Manometry/pH studies, ERCP, EUS, and Infusion services. In our Endoscopy Centers, we utilize cutting-edge technology and equipment for procedures such as colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, and esophageal dilation.

WAGI's locations are ideally situated, offering a wealth of recreational activities from the scenic Puget Sound to the majestic Mount Rainier. The region is home to professional sports teams like the Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Sounders FC, Seattle Mariners, and the new NHL team, the Seattle Kraken. For those who appreciate craft beverages, numerous breweries and wineries are available, along with a variety of local coffee roasters. With an array of museums and year-round outdoor activities, the Puget Sound area has something for everyone.

  • A 401(k) plan with maximum employer contributions for physicians.
  • Five weeks of annual vacation for employed physicians.
  • This salaried position offers a compensation range of $475,000 - $550,000.

Patients Come First. Every decision we make is centered around enhancing patient care. We continuously strive to elevate standards and redefine excellence in the industry for our patients.

Our Practice Is Led by Physicians. Our governance is guided by a Physician Executive Committee, Regional Clinical Governance Boards, and Local Head Physician leadership, ensuring that our practice remains physician-led at every level—national, state, and local. This principle guarantees that we are physician-directed, supported by extensive resources across all tiers.

Proven Business Model Enables Physicians to Focus on Patients. Our national management service organization provides comprehensive administrative support across all clinics, allowing our physicians to prioritize patient care and ensure that our patients always come first.

Outcomes Matter. Our leadership in the gastrointestinal field is a result of the significant value we provide to our physician partners. No other practice has achieved the same level of growth, success, or financial benefit for its physicians as we have. We expect this trend to continue as more distinguished physicians join our practice, recognizing the substantial advantages our results offer.
