Are you an experienced Epilepsy Specialist passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered neurological care? Virtua Health is seeking a dedicated physician with specialized expertise in epilepsy to join our growing Neurosciences team. In this role, you'll make a meaningful impact on patients and families while working within a highly collaborative, academically aligned environment.

About the Role:
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible neurologist with preferred experience in an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU). This outpatient-focused position centers on the evaluation, treatment, and long-term management of patients with epilepsy and seizure disorders, with opportunities to collaborate on EMU admissions and advanced diagnostics as clinically appropriate.

What You'll Do

  • Provide expert epilepsy care in an outpatient neurology practice based in Marlton, NJ.
  • Conduct inpatient consults across all five Virtua Health hospitals: Virtua Marlton Hospital, Virtua Voorhees Hospital, Virtua Mt. Holly Hospital, Virtua Willingboro Hospital, and Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital
  • Collaborate closely with a multispecialty neurology team focused on headache medicine, multiple sclerosis (MS), and epilepsy.

About Our Neurosciences Program

Virtua Health is redefining access to world-class neurological care-close to home. Through our partnership with Penn Medicine, the Virtua Neurosciences Program brings together nationally recognized neurologists, neurosurgeons, and specialty teams to deliver advanced, evidence-based neurological care throughout South Jersey.

You'll join a collaborative outpatient environment with strong ties to inpatient services, including neurohospitalists, neurocritical care, and EMU teams. Our integrated model supports excellent patient outcomes, continuity of care, and professional fulfillment.

The Virtua Neurosciences Program is recognized by the American Heart Association, American Stroke Association, Blue Cross Blue Shield (Blue Distinction Plus for Spine Surgery), and the State of New Jersey.

Compensation

The starting salary for this position is: $335,000.00 (annually).
The actual compensation package could vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, the applicant's experience, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
