Description

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Deployment & ISEA Lead to support a U.S. Navy shipboard IT system transitioning from initial fielding into sustained fleet operations. The program has successfully delivered its first operational systems to the Fleet and is now entering a critical sustainment and deployment maturity phase. The ideal candidate understands Navy shipboard installation requirements, waterfront coordination, deployment logistics, and ISEA support activities, and can translate technical system knowledge into executable fleet processes, SOPs, and deployment guidance.

  • Leading development of the operational processes, installation planning, deployment documentation, sustainment workflows, and fleet-facing support structure necessary to scale deployments and ensure long-term operational success. 
  • Working closely with engineering SMEs, program management, waterfront activities, ship's force, and government stakeholders to establish repeatable deployment and sustainment practices for the system across the Fleet
  • Building processes where none currently exist
  • Working across government and contractor teams
  • Owning deployment execution details
  • Driving documentation maturity
  • Identifying sustainment gaps before they impact Fleet operations

Requirements
  • Active DoD Secret clearance
  • Eight or more years of experience supporting U.S. Navy or DoD shipboard systems
  • Experience supporting NAVSEA, PEO, or waterfront installation activities
  • Demonstrated experience with shipboard installation planning, deployment execution, and fleet sustainment
  • Experience developing SOPs, technical documentation, operational procedures, or installation packages for fleet use
  • Understanding of shipboard networking, IT systems, or tactical systems integration
  • Experience coordinating across engineering, logistics, and operational stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and process-development skills
  • Ability to operate independently in an emerging operational environment with evolving processes
Desired Skills
  • Prior experience supporting ISEA activities for Navy systems
  • Experience with alteration installs such as CSRRs, Ship checks, configuration management, waterfront operations, and Integrated logistics support (ILS)
  • Familiarity with NAVSEA installation standards, fleet introduction processes, technical manuals and logistics documentation, and RMF/cyber operational sustainment considerations
  • Former Navy ET/IT/CTT/FC experience strongly desired
  • Experience transitioning systems from prototype/initial deployment into program-of-record sustainment
  • PMP, DAWIA, or logistics/systems engineering certifications preferred
