Summary of Position: The Jim Crow Museum is an anti-racism museum dedicated to preserving history and celebrating the resilience and achievements of Black Americans. Join a welcoming team of staff and students while gaining hands-on experience.
No previous experience is required-all training is provided.
Flexible schedules are available around class commitments, with full-time opportunities during the summer.
Responsibilities are assigned based on your interests, skills, museum needs, and physical abilities, with a variety of seated, standing, and active tasks available
Position Requirements: *Detail-oriented, organized, punctual, showing initiative, good communication, and teamwork.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Responsibilities may include:
• Assisting with the care, documentation, and storage of museum collections
• Photographing artifacts and creating digital content
• Welcoming and assisting museum visitors
