Job description

Indiana University Health is seeking patient-centered, collaborative, and supportive Anesthesiologists to join our growing teams across Indiana, location(s) include: IU Health Methodist & University Hospitals in Indianapolis and IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. This role offers an exciting opportunity to practice in both academic and community hospital settings with a strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and patient care.
Position Highlights

  • Full-time clinical practice with a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities

  • Case variety may include general, ENT, GYN, neuro, thoracic, cardiovascular, obstetric, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, and more

  • Involvement in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, with potential for faculty appointment through the IU School of Medicine

  • Flexible scheduling to support faculty initiatives, research, and quality projects

  • Call responsibilities required (varies by site)

  • Work alongside a collegial, multidisciplinary team of anesthesiologists and anesthetists

  • Visa sponsorship (H-1B) available

Qualifications

  • Residency training in Anesthesiology (required)

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology (required)

  • Eligible for or currently holds an Indiana medical license (required)

  • Subspecialty training or interest in obstetric, neuro, or cardiovascular anesthesia preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills valued

  • Open to both experienced providers and new graduates
