  • Ensure consistent customer service, professionalism, and member experience
  • Maintain opening/closing procedures and operational standards

Merchandising & Buying

  • Curate seasonal assortments of apparel, accessories, and logo merchandise
  • Plan and execute seasonal refreshes, capsule collections, and event-based merchandise
  • Maintain a cohesive merchandising point of view aligned with Club culture and membership
  • Coordinate buys, deliveries, and reorders with approved vendors

Inventory & Financial Management

  • Monitor inventory levels, sell-through, and aging product
  • Recommend markdowns or merchandising strategies for slow-moving inventory
  • Coordinate receiving, tagging, and inventory entry
  • Maintain discipline around margins, inventory turns, and presentation

Visual Merchandising & Presentation

  • Ensure the shop is consistently clean, organized, and visually compelling
  • Execute floor resets and display updates
  • Establish merchandising standards that can be maintained daily

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with the Director of Racquets on programming and retail alignment
  • Coordinate with Club management on pricing, promotions, and brand standards
  • Support tournaments, events, and special retail initiatives as needed

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in retail merchandising, buying, or specialty apparel retail
  • Experience supervising or leading staff in a retail or service environment
  • Strong visual merchandising skills and attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of retail fundamentals (margin, sell-through, inventory turns)
  • Comfortable working independently with clear expectations and accountability
  • Tennis, athletic, or lifestyle retail experience preferred

Schedule & Compensation

  • Full-time position with a mix of shop coverage, merchandising responsibilities, and racquets billing
  • Weekend and event coverage required
