How much money do maternity nurses make?

Full-time maternity nurses, also known as labor and delivery or postpartum nurses, typically earn between $60,000 and $90,000 annually, depending on experience, location, and certifications. How to make $300,000 a year as a nurse?

Full Time Maternity RNs can increase their earnings by working overtime, taking on specialized roles such as nurse anesthetist or nurse practitioner, and gaining advanced certifications. Full Time Maternity RNs can increase their income by taking on per diem or agency shifts, which often pay higher rates, or by working overtime. Additionally, they can pursue specialized certifications in areas like obstetrics or neonatal care to qualify for higher-paying roles or side opportunities such as teaching, consulting, or telehealth services.
