Familiarity with plumbing codes, blueprint reading, pipefitting tools, and inspection systems is essential, along with possible certifications in specialized areas like gas fitting or backflow prevention. Strong customer service, leadership, and communication skills help in managing projects and collaborating with clients or teams. These skills and qualities are crucial for ensuring safe, code-compliant installations, efficient problem resolution, and high client satisfaction.
