Job description

Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.

We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.

We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

About the Role:

Join Crusoe as a Data Analyst, a dedicated hire on our central Data Science and Engineering team. This full-time position is focused on supporting the Data Center Infrastructure Group (DIG) — the arm of Crusoe that builds and operates data centers, spanning real estate, energy, construction, and parts lifecycle management. You will work directly with business stakeholders to own reporting, maintain data accuracy, and ensure that leaders across DIG have timely, reliable information to drive high-stakes operational decisions.

What You'll Be Working On:

  • Own Reporting & Dashboards Build, maintain, and continuously improve the weekly and monthly reports and dashboards that DIG leadership relies on for operational decision-making. You are the DRI for accuracy and timeliness.

  • Partner with Business Stakeholders Work directly with leaders across construction, real estate, energy, and procurement to understand their needs and translate business questions into analytical deliverables.

  • Track Complex Infrastructure Projects DIG runs large, multi-year construction projects with long lead times and many vendors. You will build and maintain tracking for project progress, cost burn-down, timelines, and financial performance.

  • Champion Data Quality Proactively surface anomalies and inconsistencies in key datasets. When a number is wrong, you own the investigation and follow-through — working with data engineers to resolve root causes.

  • Communicate Insights to Executive Stakeholders Translate analytical findings into clear, executive-ready narratives. You'll regularly support senior leadership with the data and context they need to make informed decisions.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • 3–5 Years of Analytics Experience A proven track record in an analyst role, ideally within an enterprise, infrastructure, or operationally complex environment.

  • Strong SQL Skills You will be querying BigQuery daily. Comfort working with large, complex datasets across multiple source systems is essential.

  • Reporting & Dashboard Expertise Hands-on experience building and maintaining operational dashboards and reports. Familiarity with BI tools — we use Sigma as our primary tool, alongside Looker, Power BI, or Tableau experience also welcomed.

  • Executive Communication Demonstrated ability to present data and insights clearly to senior and executive audiences — written, verbal, and visual.

  • Stakeholder Management Proven experience working directly with business partners to gather requirements and deliver data products. You're credible in a room with construction project managers and equally comfortable reviewing a report with a finance lead.

  • Business Acumen You understand why you are building something, not just what. You ask questions until the business context is clear and can explain your work to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ownership Track record of being the go-to person for "is this number right?" You take accountability for data accuracy and don't wait to be told when something is off.

Bonus Points

  • Background in construction, manufacturing, supply chain, or other operationally complex industries.

  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Sage Intacct, or similar) and the data that flows from them.

  • Python for data analysis or workflow automation.

  • Experience working in a fast-growing company where processes are still being built.

Our Data Stack

  • Cloud: Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  • Data Warehouse: BigQuery

  • Transformation: dbt (SQL-based)

  • BI Tools: Sigma (primary), Grafana (operational)

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation and equity packages

  • Restricted Stock Units

  • Paid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programs

  • Comprehensive health, dental & vision insurance

  • Employer contributions to HSA account

  • Paid parental leave

  • Paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability

  • Professional development & tuition reimbursement

  • Mental health & wellness support

  • Commuter benefits (parking & transit)

  • Cell phone stipend

  • 401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary

  • Volunteer time off

  • Global travel insurance & emergency assistance

  • Daily meals allowance

  • Additional perks & programs specific to location

Compensation Range

Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $136,850 -$161,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant's knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
