CNC Machinist
Department: Machine Shop
Shift: 3rd (11p-7a)
Pay Range: $21-$41/hr
Shift Differential: $4.00/hr for 2nd or 3rd Shift

We are looking for experienced CNC Machinists who enjoy working with challenging parts, tight tolerances, advanced machining processes, and a team that values technical expertise.
What You’ll Do
  • Set up and operate CNC machining centers, grinders, and related equipment to produce precision components
  • Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs, adjust tool offsets, and implement process improvements to optimize machining performance, quality, and efficiency.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, setup documentation, and inspection requirements
  • Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and process adjustments to consistently meet specifications
  • Troubleshoot machining issues involving tooling, fixtures, programs, and equipment
  • Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, indicators, calipers, CMM, optical, and laser measurement systems
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by recommending improvements to tooling, fixtures, processes, and documentation
  • Assist with developing and improving setup instructions, machining processes, and work instructions
  • Provide technical support and knowledge sharing with other machinists
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of CNC machining experience preferred
  • 5+ years of manual machining experience is a plus
  • Strong experience setting up and operating CNC machining centers
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD amp;T, and technical drawings
  • Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling, feeds/speeds, and process improvement
  • Experience making CNC program edits and troubleshooting machining challenges
  • Ability to use precision inspection equipment and interpret measurement results
  • Strong math skills, including practical use of geometry and trigonometry
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
