Job description

Title:Prevention Services Specialist
Function:To provide prevention and education services related to agency initiatives.
Hours:Full time.Canoccasionally include evenings and weekends
Status:Non-Exempt

EssentialFunctions:

  • Create and implement community specific prevention programming utilizing best practices in primary prevention, providing oversight of prevention services & messaging on KCSARC communications.
  • Conduct sexual assault prevention education and training to adults and related service providers.
  • Create prevention and education materials; provide outreach and educational opportunities to community partners, youth serving organizations, schools, faith communities and other groups as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned
