JB050 - Full-Time Live-out Nanny - NYC

British American Household Staffing

Manhattan, NY

$100K/yr

Full-time

Medical, PTO

Re-posted 2 days ago

Job description

A warm and hands-on family in New York City is seeking an exceptionally experienced and intuitive Nanny to join their family and support the care of their three children, ages 7, 5, and 1. This is a household where the mother is present and actively involved in her children’s lives, so the ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, complements a parent’s natural rhythm, and brings such a strong foundation of experience that they can hit the ground running from day one. Personality fit is everything in this role. The family is looking for someone who feels like a natural extension of the household.

The schedule will be Monday through Thursday or Friday, 7:00am to 7:00pm. This is a full-time, live-out position based in New York City.

    •    Caring for three children and serving as a consistent, nurturing presence throughout the day

    •    Light housekeeping with a focus on keeping the children’s spaces, kitchen, and play areas tidy and organized

    •    Assisting with meal preparation and cooking for the children

    •    Supporting homework and educational activities as needed

    •    Swimming with the children and engaging them in active, age-appropriate play

    •    Domestic and international travel with the family as needed

    •    Driving is a plus but not required

The ideal candidate is a seasoned nanny who brings years of hands-on experience and a genuine love for what they do. They work beautifully alongside an involved parent, take initiative without overstepping, and bring warmth, professionalism, and confidence to everything they do. They do not need to be micromanaged and they do not need to be taught the fundamentals. They simply need a family worthy of their talent.

    •    Extensive professional nanny experience, ideally with multiple family references

    •    Must be comfortable around and possibly occasionally assisting with the family's elderly dog

    •    Comfortable and experienced working alongside a hands-on parent

    •    Strong household organizational skills

    •    Ability to travel domestically and internationally with the family

    •    Warm, personable, and an excellent communicator

    •    Valid driver’s license a plus

    •    Legal to work in the US

    •    $100,000+ per year commensurate with experience

    •    Monthly healthcare stipend

    •    PTO

The family is committed to being competitive for the right candidate and is open to discussing compensation further once top candidates are identified.
