Systems Administrator (Linux) Compensation
- The pay for this position is $37–$41 per hour (based on experience)
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available to full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Systems Administrator (Linux) Highlights
- The required availability for this position is Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Systems Administrator (Linux) Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and upgrade Linux-based systems supporting engineering and development teams
- Provide day-to-day support for physical and virtual server environments
- Monitor system performance, availability, and overall health of Linux infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, including break-fix and operational support
- Provision and configure systems in both physical and virtual environments
- Support and drive configuration management using tools like Puppet or Ansible
- Write and maintain scripts (Bash, Python, etc.) to automate system tasks and processes
- Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and performance
- Propose and implement improvements to enhance system efficiency, scalability, and uptime
- Support large-scale server environments and contribute to infrastructure standardization efforts
Systems Administrator (Linux) Requirements
- 3+ years of Linux administration experience
- Red Hat experience
- Associate’s degree required with substantial Linux administration experience
- Strong hands-on experience supporting and troubleshooting Linux environments
- Experience with physical and virtual servers
- Familiarity with data center / on-prem infrastructure environments
- Intermediate scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
- Basic experience with configuration management tools (Puppet or Ansible)
- Exposure to virtualization technologies
- Basic understanding of cloud concepts and provisioning
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Systems Administrator (Linux) Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Puppet
- Experience supporting large-scale server environments
- Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms
- Experience with automation and system optimization initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
