What is a full time life flight helicopter pilot?

Full Time Life Flight Helicopter Pilots are professional pilots who operate helicopters for emergency medical services, often transporting critically ill or injured patients to hospitals. These pilots work for hospitals, air ambulance services, or specialized medical transport companies. Their responsibilities include flying safely in various weather conditions, coordinating with medical teams, and ensuring the helicopter is well-maintained and ready for rapid deployment. They typically work long or irregular shifts and must adhere to strict safety and regulatory standards. In addition to strong piloting skills, these professionals require calm decision-making abilities and experience in emergency response situations.
