Ardaman has the following opportunity available:


Geotechnical Laboratory Technician

Full time position in a Soils Laboratory in Houston, TX.  Candidate will be required to perform basic geotechnical laboratory testing. Tests include visual classification, moisture content, density, compressive strength, Atterberg limits and particle size analysis.  Tasks will include sample extrusion and soil sample processing. Prior experience preferred, but training will be provided. 

Requirements:

  • Excellent driving record within company standards
  • Willing to work weekends and overtime as required
  • Willing to work on out of town assignments as required
  • Able to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 50 lb.
  • Have a High School Diploma or equivalent 
  • Must have good math skills, organizational skills, and good attitude
  • Get along well in a team environment and be safety minded in all aspects of his work
  • Individual should be physically fit and able to spend extended hours working in the laboratory. 
  • Local candidates preferred; no relocation.
