All Modal Transportation is looking to hire Port Intermodal Truck Drivers with CDL class A license & a valid TWIC card for dedicated year-round trips between El Centro, CA and the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. We work exclusively with containers so drayage/intermodal experience is a must.

All Modal Transportation offers:
  • Dedicated year-round trips between El Centro and the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.
  • Work as a Company Driver.
  • Full-time employment - up to 5 days a week (up to 70 hrs per week).

Requirements:
  • Valid CDL Class A license
  • Clean MVR - if you have an accident on the record, please be ready to provide an accident report.
  • Valid TWIC card
  • Min 3 years of verifiable experience as a CDL Class A driver.
  • Min 1 year experience working with the port hauling containers.
  • Must pass DOT pre-employment drug test.
  • Be available to work up to 14 hours daily.

Job Description:
  • Operating a truck tractor to transport containers to and from the port of Los Angeles and Long Beach.
  • Completing pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
  • Operating Electronic Log Books (ELDs).
  • Filling up the truck with diesel and DEF.
  • Communicating with Dispatch throughout the work day - hands-free device for cell communication is required.
  • Completing and submitting of daily paperwork and required pictures.
  • Container weighing, empty or/and heavy.

Additional Requirements:
The essential functions of the job require the ability to perform the following tasks unassisted: bending, reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, pulling up to get in and out of the truck, walking, squatting, kneeling; use of both hands to operate the truck, hold the wheel and shift the gears; sitting is expected for hours at a time with no opportunity to stop, get out of the vehicle and stretch.

• Abastecer el camión con diésel y DEF.
• Mantener comunicación con Despacho durante toda la jornada laboral; se requiere un dispositivo de manos libres para comunicación celular.
• Completar y entregar la documentación diaria y las fotografías requeridas.
• Pesaje de contenedores vacíos y/o cargados.
Requisitos adicionales:
Las funciones esenciales del puesto requieren la capacidad de realizar sin asistencia las siguientes tareas: agacharse, alcanzar objetos por encima de la cabeza, empujar, jalar, subir y bajar del camión, caminar, ponerse en cuclillas y arrodillarse; utilizar ambas manos para operar el camión, sostener el volante y cambiar de marcha; permanecer sentado durante varias horas seguidas sin oportunidad de detenerse, salir del vehículo o estirarse.
