The Registered Nurse will play a vital role in advancing exceptional patient care within the Cardiology Clinic outpatient practice. As a trusted clinical resource, the RN will assess and triage patient calls and messages, applying sound clinical judgment to identify priorities, address concerns, and ensure seamless coordination with the appropriate members of the care team. Serving as both an advocate and guide, this nurse will empower patients through education, support, and compassionate communication, helping them confidently navigate every step of their cardiac care journey. The ideal candidate is a highly collaborative and detail-oriented professional who excels in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, embraces teamwork, and is passionate about delivering outstanding, patient-centered care that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of those they serve.
Education
Required - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred - Bachelor's degree in nursing.
Work Experience
Required - None.
Preferred - Experience directly supervising or managing others.
Certifications
Required - Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred - Certification in clinical specialty area.

Because the incumbent works within a healthcare setting, there may be occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste within the environment through receipt, transport, storage, preparation, dispensing, administration, cleaning and/or disposal of contaminated waste.
