Van Delden Wastewater Systems in Boerne, TX is looking to hire a full-time Rooter and Jetting Technician to provide excellent customer service while working on customer's septic systems. This position earns a competitive starting wage of $24/hr with bonus opportunities after 3 months (with a total earning of $45,000 to $55,000 per year). Weekly pay with option to direct deposit. We provide the following benefits, including paid holidays after 6 months, one week of paid time off (PTO) after 1 year, bonuses, medical insurance, dental, vision, supplemental insurance, 401k, and incentives. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A ROOTER AND JETTING TECHNICIAN

As a Rooter and Jetting Technician, your day begins bright and early. You arrive at the shop and prepare your truck, equipment and tools for the day, and then head out with your work assigned truck, trailer and equipment. Upon arrival, you introduce yourself using your friendly customer service skills, obtain a pre-authorization signature, and then go to work. Careful and conscious of the client's property, you unload the mini-excavator and begin digging to locate the system component, install a cleanout and rooter or jet the drainfield lines. Once the job is complete and the property in great condition, you collect payment and leave the customer with a smile. 

Your day is busy and strenuous at times, but you enjoy being active and interacting with our clients. You enjoy the change when the company needs help with other projects or when cross-training in order to expand your knowledge, skills and abilities. Your caring customer service is one of the reasons they come back to our company again and again. Knowing this fills you with satisfaction. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A ROOTER & REPAIR TECH

  • Driver's License with a good driving record 
  • Ability to tow and back up a trailer 
  • Ability to work smaller equipment such as a mini-excavator 
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions 
  • Capacity to perform the physical requirements of the job such as lifting and shoveling 
  • Proficiency in the use of an iPad 
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test

WORK SCHEDULE

This position enjoys a great work/life balanced full time schedule of Monday - Friday, from approximately 7:30 am - 5:00 pm, with no weekends, holidays or late nights.
