  • Support the annual IT budgeting process and ongoing forecasting cycles, partnering with IT leadership and business unit finance teams to ensure alignment with company-wide financial objectives.
  • Develop and maintain IT financial models, including departmental expense tracking, capex vs. opex classification, headcount and contractor cost planning, and project-level budget management.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly variance analysis for IT spend, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities with actionable recommendations.
  • Maintain YTD IT spending visibility across business units, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to IT and Finance leadership.

  • Support IT vendor and contract management, including PO/invoice oversight, project code utilization, and supplier-level spend reconciliation.
  • Support IT project portfolio management, tracking budget-to-actual by project, identifying variances, and escalating issues proactively.
  • Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate expense booking, proper accruals, and headcount/payroll alignment to actual department formation.
  • Prepare and present executive-level financial reviews, communicating financial implications clearly to non-finance audiences.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or equivalent from an accredited university.
  • An MBA or professional certification (CPA, CFA) is preferred but not required.

  • Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis; experience with IT cost structures (infrastructure, SaaS, headcount, projects) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Power Pivot, Power Query); experience with Power BI or other BI tools preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP and financial management systems (e.g., IFS, Hyperion, SAP, or similar); experience with semantic models or data layers is a plus.
  • GAAP knowledge and understanding of capital vs. operating expense treatment for technology investments.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across IT, Finance, and business unit teams.
