Join Our Boutique Dentistry Team in Downtown Austin! We are looking for an awesome Registered Dental assistant to join our team! Located in the heart of downtown Austin, our office is designed to provide an enjoyable and unique experience for all our patients, combining top-notch dental care with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Our practice emphasizes a gentle approach, ensuring that all patients feel comfortable and cared for during their visits. Our office features modern amenities, including digital radiography, intraoral cameras, and the iTero system, enhancing both the patient experience and treatment outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a general dentistry office, with proficiency in essential skills such as scanning using an Itero scanner, cord packing as well as Invisalign experience. A strong commitment to ongoing learning and a collaborative spirit is essential, as we prioritize teamwork and personal growth. In addition to a supportive work environment, we offer competitive hourly rates starting at $25/hour depending on experience and skill level. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of procedures
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories in accordance with infection control protocols
  • Take digital radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral images
  • Record and update patient medical histories and clinical notes accurately
  • Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care
  • Maintain operatory cleanliness and organization
  • Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed
  • Support front office duties as needed, including scheduling and patient communication

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Minimum of 2 year of dental assisting experience required
  • Invisalign Experience required
  • X-ray certification (or ability to obtain per state requirements)
  • Current CPR/BLS certification required
  • EFDA certification preferred (if applicable)
  • Strong clinical and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
