OG Dental is currently seeking an Experienced Dental Assistant for a Full-Time position- 4 day work week, if desired

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- General, Endo, Oral Surgery, Implants, Invisalign, Botox, and the list continues!
  • Take dental x-rays
  • Use of an Itero scanner
  • Take cosmetic photos (willing to train)
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
  • Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols
  • Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as mixing materials for impressions and restorations- mostly 3D scanners now
  • Work as a team to give patients a 5 star customer experience
  • Be reliable, friendly, and open to learning
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Dental Assistant
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assistant program
  • X-ray certification is a plus
  • Familiarity with dental software programs- Open Dental
  • Flexibility to work evenings as needed
