Dental Hygiene Assistant

Job Description

Assist dental hygienists and dentists with patient care and hygiene appointments
Prepare and sterilize instruments, operatory rooms, and equipment
Take digital X-rays (X-Ray Certification required)
Support patient education on oral hygiene and post-visit care instructions
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with charting
Ensure infection control and safety protocols are met at all times
Contribute to a smooth, efficient workflow and positive patient experiences
Collaborate with an enthusiastic team of dental professionals

Salary Range

Full-time $20 - $23 per hour

Shift & Schedule

Monday to Friday (No weekends!)

Requirements
  • X-ray / Radiography Certification

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a dental assistant or hygiene assistant
X-Ray Certification required
Strong teamwork, organizational, and communication skills
Positive, patient-first attitude
Proactive and reliable, with a passion for learning and growth

Preferences
  • CEREC
  • iTero

Experience with advanced dental technology (iTero, CEREC, digital radiography) is a plus
