Key Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia care for diverse surgical cases
  • Perform preoperative assessments and patient education
  • Administer and monitor anesthesia throughout procedures
  • Respond to intraoperative and perioperative emergencies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Accurately document patient care in Epic EMR
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Schedule
  • Day shifts only
  • No weekends
  • No on-call requirements
  • Variable start times based on department needs
Qualifications
  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
  • Active Michigan RN license (required at time of submission)
  • NBCRNA certification
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Clean malpractice and licensure history
  • Prior CRNA experience required (new graduates not eligible)
  • DEA and controlled substance registration (required prior to start)
