  • Create seasonal concepts, mood boards, CADs, detailed sketches, colorways, and presentation materials.
  • Develop comprehensive tech packs and design packages to communicate product specifications and design intent to cross-functional teams and overseas partners.
  • Partner closely with Product Development, Technical Design, Production, Sales, and Sourcing teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Source and recommend fabrics, trims, treatments, prints, and embellishments that support both aesthetic and cost objectives.

  • Manage multiple seasonal calendars simultaneously while maintaining awareness of key milestones, customer deadlines, and development timelines.
  • Present concepts, line reviews, and product updates to leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Analyze competitive market offerings and identify opportunities for innovation and product differentiation.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of retailer-specific requirements, customer preferences, and market trends within the sleepwear category.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and day-to-day direction to Assistant and Associate Designers, helping prioritize workload, review design execution, and support professional development.
  • Delegate development and administrative tasks appropriately while maintaining ownership of seasonal design direction and account strategy.
  • Support a collaborative team environment and contribute to the continued growth and success of the Sleepwear division.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience designing for Walmart or other large-volume retailers is highly preferred.
