                                                              Radiology Tech Full Time

                                 USPI New Mexico Orthopaedicis hiring a Full Time Radiology Tech!

USPI New Mexico Orthopaedic, we believe health and care are inseparable.  We focus on offering a high quality, service oriented environment for your surgical procedure.

Job Summary: Perform the described duties in the primary work area and demonstrate competency in the following:

  • Performs all radiographic procedures as written in Policy and Procedure Manual.
  • Notifies department director of equipment/machine malfunction.
  • Follows policies, procedures, goals, and objectives for Radiology Tech according to accepted standards.
  •  Adheres to Policies and Procedures as defined by Infection Control.
  •  Maintains and demonstrates current skills and knowledge of all radiographic procedures.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of reporting system of radiology findings to physician. Serves as a resource to other members of the health care team.
  • Acts in accordance with the vision, mission, and business philosophy of the Center. Maintains patient, physician, and employee privacy and confidentiality per policy.
  • Follows the Center's professional conduct and dress code policy.
  • Communicates effectively and courteously with visitors, physicians, patients and employees.
  • Assists with other responsibilities of Center as deemed necessary by management.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or GED.  
  • Graduate of an approved school of radiology technician.
  • Currently certified in the state.  BLS certification.
  • One year experience required.
  • Familiar with medical terminology
