The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Crew Logistics to support our flight operations. This position plays a key role in coordinating crew schedules, managing travel logistics, and providing flight support in compliance with FAA Part 135 regulations.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced aviation environment, while maintaining strong communication skills and a team-player mentality.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with crew scheduling, ensuring coverage aligns with operational requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Arrange travel accommodations, including flights, hotels, and ground transportation, for flight crews.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for crew members regarding scheduling, travel, and logistical concerns.
  • Coordinate closely with dispatch, maintenance, and operations teams to address schedule changes and flight disruptions.
  • Support charter flight coordination under FAR 135 requirements for both domestic and international operations.
  • Collaborate with PIC to review weather, airfields, and other operational conditions, ensuring safe and compliant flight operations, being jointly responsible for the safe operation of each flight.
  • Secure civil landing and commercial over-flight clearances for all domestic and international flight operations. Arrange diplomatic over-flight and landing clearances for charter flights, as required.
  • Arrange aircraft ground handling and fuel on-load/services and coordinate cargo on-load/off-load at departure, en route, and recovery locations. Liaise with customs and immigration officials and manage related documentation, including General Declarations.
  • Review NOTAMs, weather, and route information, and assist in preparing Aircraft Flight Releases incorporating weather, required fuel loads, cargo/passenger payloads, aircraft airworthiness, and routing strategy.
  • Participate in shift turnovers to communicate key operational updates and support continuous coverage.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in computer applications; familiarity with aviation scheduling or dispatch software.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace suitable for remote work (company-provided computer).
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an aviation-related or flight operations support role (preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritize and manage shifting deadlines.
  • Ability to travel to the company's Raleigh, NC office as needed.
  • Must be able to work variable shifts, including at least one weekend day per week.
  • Must reside within the contiguous United States and be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
