Role Summary
The Client Leader is responsible for expanding BHDP’s presence within the Workplace Market by developing strategic relationships with decision-makers, maintaining a healthy sales funnel through consistent sales behaviors, and achieving individual net revenue and profit goals. In addition, the Client Leader serves as a thought leader, bringing innovative perspectives to clients and to BHDP through industry engagement, expertise, and insight that strengthen our credibility and expand opportunities within the market.
Responsibilities
  • Leads the client and project teams to secure net revenue and execute BHDP services that exceed the clients’ expectations while managing our efforts within targeted project performance metrics.
  • Serves as the advocate for the professional services provided by BHDP and holds the team accountable to a high bar of quality and client service.
  • Proactively provides perspective and strategic recommendations to clients, adding value to their business as a trusted partner and advisor.
  • Achieves business plan goals and objectives related to the Workplace Market growth, development of expertise, and visibility on a national stage.
  • Identifies and develops strategic targeted relationships with multiple new and existing clients in positions of financial authority to achieve individual sales stretch net revenue and profit goals in alignment with the Workplace Business Plan and budget.
  • Builds a business-leader network with key industry influencers to maintain a healthy sales funnel through commitment to weekly sales behaviors and ability to create meaningful connections.
  • Acts as the client relationship lead, establishing multiple high-level points of contact and developing an understanding of the client’s business goals and objectives.
  • Continuously learns and understands the client’s business and adjusts BHDP’s approach to maintain and grow broader and deeper relationships through delivering strong value.
  • Practices continuous learning to build and share strategically relevant expertise, develop a thought-leading voice in the Market/Business Segment to create credibility as an expert with new and existing clients.
  • Presents market-focused thought leadership at professional national organization conferences attended by existing and prospective clients.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (NAAB accredited program preferred), Interior Design (CIDA accredited program preferred), or other relevant design, construction, or engineering related program.
  • Architectural License, or NCIDQ Certification, preferred
  • 12+ years in the design and/or architecture industry
  • 5+ years of within the Workplace Market
  • Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service, with the ability to anticipate needs, communicate proactively, and resolve issues with professionalism and care.
