Job description

The Veradigm Life Science Real World Evidence (RWE) team is seeking a Principal Research Analytics Analyst to complement its growing team of healthcare analysts, data scientists, and researchers to collaborate on healthcare database analyses. As a member of the RWE Research Services team, the Principal Analyst will have end-to-end research study responsibility in the operationalization of research questions through to the delivery of study results. Our work entails conducting retrospective database analyses, and to some extent, prospective studies on behalf of our life science clients.
Responsibilities:
  • Implement full-scale projects, including:
    • Working with internal and external stakeholders to scope and plan project work
    • Conceptualizing, implementing, and delivering analytic products end-to-end
    • Identifying and interpreting meaningful insights from analysis
  • Communicate complex ideas, methodologies, and results to clients and other stakeholders
  • Oversee work assignments and quality of junior staff and new hires
  • Write technical documents, including study proposals and protocols, technical specifications for programmers, peer-reviewed abstracts and manuscripts, and client-facing reports

Qualifications:
  • Minimum MS/MPH in a relevant field of study (health sciences, health economics, public health, epidemiology, or other related quantitative discipline). Work experience may substitute for a degree.

Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in an analytics role in the healthcare space, preferably in life sciences (RWE, HEOR, epidemiology, safety). Education may substitute for experience.
  • Experience working with healthcare data, including EHR and administrative claims data is required
  • Familiarity with the various medical coding systems used in EHR and claims data (e.g., ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, NDC, SNOMED) is necessary
  • Candidates should have a proven track record of producing high quality technical documents, such as study protocols and reports, abstracts, and manuscripts.
  • A demonstrated ability to simultaneously work across multiple priorities for various stakeholders.

No regular travel is required.
Compensation Range:
$113,254-$164,785
