Job Description:
Addison Group is hiring a Loss Control Clerk for our client, a well-established national organization in the wholesale distribution industry. This position supports the Risk and Loss Control team by coordinating insurance-related administrative functions, assisting with claims management, maintaining documentation, and serving as a key resource for internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support for insurance and loss control programs across multiple business locations.
  • Assist with the processing and tracking of workers' compensation, general liability, property, and freight claims.
  • Maintain accurate insurance records and documentation, ensuring files remain current and organized.
  • Coordinate the issuance and maintenance of customer and vendor certificates of insurance.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and external insurance partners regarding bond and insurance-related requests.
  • Monitor requests and documentation to ensure timely follow-up and completion.
  • Communicate professionally with internal and external contacts while resolving questions related to claims and insurance documentation.
  • Perform additional administrative and departmental support duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in insurance, risk management, loss prevention, claims administration, or a related administrative role. Candidates with a bachelor's degree and limited professional experience are also encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
