What to Expect

Manage a small group of equipment maintenance technicians that are responsible for equipment availability, and performance. Perform preventative maintenance and repair on a variety of electro-mechanical, robotic, and pneumatic manufacturing equipment. Develop and maintain maintenance and calibration schedules for all tools, machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing facility. Perform supporting activities for engineering and manufacturing including 5S and Lean manufacturing activities, material handling improvements, production line configuration, and safety procedures. Manage workload with a positive attitude as a hands-on team player in a collaborative work environment.

This person must be able to build upon previous successes and take our Maintenance teams to the next level. Must be capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams and department leaders to address concerns and issues that affect part quality, production efficiency, work cell ergonomics, equipment maintenance, etc. The successful candidate will also have exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and management skills, demonstrating the ability to be an innovator and change agent.

What You'll Do

  • Provide effective supervision, training and coaching to assigned maintenance employees to achieve the required equipment up time, equipment repairs, and production goals. Maintain department records and inventories
  • Ensure that standard operating procedures and engineering procedures are current, accurate and that all work is done in compliance to ensure maximum quality
  • Monitor to ensure that all employees comply with safety regulations and the plant's safety program
  • Work with employees to resolve technical and machine problems.Schedule preventive maintenance to effectively meet production needs
  • Provide the shift-to-shift communication link to keep all team members working toward the same goals. Communicate to employees all issues that affect the plant
  • Maintain ongoing preventive maintenance program to ensure optimum equipment performance
  • Oversee equipment upgrades and refurbishment projects, effectively coordinating with vendor support and ensure accurate spare parts inventory and on-site availability to support equipment repairs and upgrades

What You'll Bring

  • Four years or more of industrial maintenance supervisory or similar leadership experience preferred
  • CNC machining, Casting or Injection Molding equipment experience highly preferred, high-volume manufacturing also highly preferred
  • Strong preventive maintenance development experience, familiarity with reliability centered maintenance principles preferred
  • Ability to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality/quantity and to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities, establish and achieve goals
  • Hydraulics/Pneumatics troubleshooting using prints; PLC: troubleshooting with, or programming. Allen Bradley or Siemens
  • Lean Manufacturing experience
  • Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal

Expected Compensation $97,200 - $145,800/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
