The Opportunity:
As a global leader, we strive for greatness not only in the products we make but in our people. That is why we are currently seeking the newest innovator with experience in Display Picture Quality Engineering to join our team as a Color Scientist located in Santa Clara, California. This is an onsite position.
• Conduct research on human vision and its interaction with display devices.
• Collaborate with partners on advanced vision and display research:
• Participate in industry / standards organizations
• Lead Picture Quality (PQ) R&D for advanced display technologies.
• Apply expertise in color science and visual perception to optimize video display systems.
• Measurement and evaluation of picture quality in various displays and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Utilize scripting and advanced programming languages for PQ algorithms and analysis.
• Conduct display metrology and performance evaluations using industry tools.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering with minimum 8 years related experience, OR Graduate degree in Science or Engineering with minimum 6 years of experience.
• Proven experience and understanding of color science and visual perception of images and color as it pertains to video display systems.
• Experience in Picture Quality-related R&D and authoring peer-reviewed technical publications
• Sound interpersonal skills with ability to articulate details for fact-based and intuitive decision making.
Recruiting Range
$150,000-$200,000 USD
