Area Manager Texas

Job Type: Full-Time, Salary Exempt

Global K9 Protection Group LLC is looking for a dedicated and passionate Area Manager Southcentral to serve as an integral part of the GK9PG Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the first line supervisor for GK9PG Site Lead and second line supervisor to employees at that location.
  • The Area Manager provides site specific input to their Regional Director as required.
  • Serves as the second level of client interface with GK9PG leadership at each site.
  • Serves as the second level of compliance accountability for each site.
  • Enforces all GK9PG policies and procedures.
  • Works to create new business and opportunities for growth in the region.
  • Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, the industry, and community.
  • Ensures the presence of adequate and safe work environments.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Manages customer relationships at the site management level.
  • Coordinates new customer start-ups.
  • Facilitates new employee orientation and OJT requirements.
  • Administratively assist on local level as needed.
  • Responsible for overall site growth, customer satisfaction and acquisition.
  • Oversees site scheduling activities for site(s) - e.g., reviews schedules created by applicable site leads for personnel at their respective site locations.
  • Manages explosive inventory monthly for both high and low explosives as applicable to each site and ensures annotation in GlobalView.
  • Ensures Site Lead completes a GK9PG equipment inventory for the site in a timely manner (computers, phones, diopters, expendable supplies, SCI, etc.), Area Manager submits said inventory to maintain / update inventory of equipment with GK9PG Logistics Section; initiates reorder, or purchase procedures as required.
  • Reviews subordinate's travel requests prior to being submitted to the Regional Director.
  • Ensures site leads are monitoring and validating employee punches in Paycom: Proper schedules built 2 weeks out by site leads, and accurate punches made by handlers. This includes but is not limited to, correct location/client, correct position/work type, following lunch policy, etc.
  • Site Lead and Handler development and counseling. Includes both informal coaching/mentoring as well as formal counseling.
  • Handbook policy enforcement.
  • Assists site lead with any disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Client/Customer Interface. Acts as the face of the company on site to represent company equities and resolve disputes with clients at the warehouse level.
  • Manage training and compliance requirements. TSA/Company requirements include CETA, BA, Recertifications, SSI, K9 Care, AR Training, etc. Ensure proper document reporting as directed by training and compliance staff.
  • Enforce monthly K9 maintenance/preventive medication and ensure proper documentation according to training and compliance staff.
  • Facilitate site or client specific training.
  • Reviews and ensures proper uploads ingo Global View for all compliance requirements.
  • Manages training compliance IAW GK9PG policies and ensures annotation in GlobalView.
  • Develops training schedule to meet CETA and training requirements.
  • Ensures all site training is completed as required and ensures annotation in GlobalView or any other applicable systems.
  • Enforces monthly K9 maintenance / preventive medication and ensures annotation in GlobalView.
  • Reviews site videos and ensures annotation in GlobalView according to OPSC guidelines.
  • Reviews GlobalView inputs of subordinates for accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor and schedule required recertification training dates.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
