Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Vacuum Truck Foreman drives and operates truck and associated equipment in a safe, responsible, and professional manner, follows and complies with all state laws, company policies and procedures. Foreman also oversees crew member ensuring that safety is always in the forefront. This position also ensures proper load securement of any hoses, extensions, boom, and other equipment. This position is responsible for transporting, loading, and offloading of fluids at different locations.

Core Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and delegate daily tasks to crew member related to hydro excavation.
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
  • Operates vacuum truck and associated equipment in a safe, responsible, and professional manner.
  • Follows and complies with all state laws, company policies, and procedures.
  • Facilitate daily toolbox talks with crew member.

  • Participates in all pre-job hazard assessments and inspections prior to commencing any job.
  • Ensures proper load securement of any hoses, extensions, boom, and other equipment.
  •  Responsible for the successful completion of hydro excavation projects including utility line exposure, debris removal, trenching, and other duties as needed.
  • Completes all required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Completes job tasks with personal and public safety as the top priority.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • CDL with Air Brake and Tanker Endorsement
  • 2 or more years of CDL driving experience.
  • 2 or more years of Vacuum Truck experience.
