Apprentices work under the supervision of experienced professionals, learning to install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems. These programs typically last 3 to 5 years and often lead to industry-recognized certifications or licenses. Participants are usually paid while they learn and gain valuable hands-on experience in the field.

Apprentices typically assist with installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial settings. You’ll learn tasks such as reading blueprints, handling refrigerants, troubleshooting equipment, and using specialized tools. This hands-on training is complemented by classroom instruction, and you’ll gradually take on more complex duties as your skills develop. Collaboration with experienced team members is a key part of the program, providing valuable mentorship and feedback to support your growth.
