Position Overview
The Safety Administrator supports industrial construction projects by maintaining safety documentation, coordinating training, onboarding, and compliance programs, and assisting with audits, inspections and incident reporting. This role partners with project teams to help ensure safety processes are organized, accurate and consistently followed.

Location
Ability to work in both office and field environments on an active project site in Abilene, TX.
Qualifications
  • Experience supporting safety programs, training coordination, compliance tracking, or administrative operations in a construction or industrial environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent organization, time management, and document control skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with project teams
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and identify discrepancies
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment
  • Experience coordinating training, onboarding, meetings, and safety-related communications preferred
  • Willingness to work in both office and field settings, including varying weather conditions and construction site environments when needed to support project operations and safety initiatives

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and organize safety documentation, compliance records, training materials, onboarding packets, certifications, and project reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate safety training, new hire orientation, meetings, and ongoing safety communications, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
  • Assist with tracking safety metrics, audits, inspections, corrective actions, and compliance deadlines.
  • Support incident reporting, documentation, and follow-up activities to help identify trends and improve safety performance.
  • Review project documentation for accuracy and compliance with company policies, client requirements, and safety procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to project management, field supervision, and safety personnel by maintaining records, preparing reports, and coordinating safety-related activities.
  • Partner with project teams to help ensure safety programs, training requirements, and site-specific procedures are consistently communicated and followed.
  • Perform high-volume data entry, document management, and repetitive administrative tasks with strong attention to detail, maintaining focus, accuracy and quality while meeting project and compliance requirements.
