Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Start Date: Immediate

About Us

At Synapse Center for Health and Healing, we believe in addressing the root causes of health issues rather than just managing symptoms. Our integrative approach combines cutting-edge wellness strategies with compassionate, individualized care. We are looking for a passionate, high-energy Health Coach to join our collaborative team and empower our clients to achieve sustainable, life-changing wellness.

Position Overview

As a Health Coach at Synapse, you will work directly with clients to bridge the gap between clinical recommendations and real-world lifestyle changes. You will be the ultimate accountability partner, guide, and educator, helping clients navigate their unique health journeys spanning nutrition, stress management, sleep, and movement.

Key Responsibilities

  • One-on-One Coaching: Conduct personalized coaching sessions to help clients establish and achieve realistic wellness goals.

  • Care Coordination: Collaborate closely with our clinical team to align coaching strategies with patient treatment plans.

  • Behavioral Support: Utilize motivational interviewing and behavioral change theories to help clients overcome obstacles and build lasting habits.

  • Progress Tracking: Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential client records tracking metrics, challenges, and breakthroughs.

  • Community Engagement: Potentially lead group coaching sessions, workshops, or contribute to educational wellness content.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Certification: Certified Health and Wellness Coach (e.g., NBC-HWC, National Board Certified, or equivalent reputable certification).

  • Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in health coaching or a clinical wellness setting.

  • Mindset: A deep understanding of holistic and integrative health principles.

  • Communication: Exceptional active listening, empathy, and motivational skills.

  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating Electronic Health Records (EHR) and digital communication tools.

What We Offer

  • Immediate Start: A streamlined hiring process to get you onboarded and working with clients right away.

  • Growth Opportunities: Be part of a fast-growing, innovative center where your voice and ideas matter.

  • Collaborative Culture: Work alongside a dedicated team of forward-thinking health professionals.

Company Description
